Napa Valley’s Wine Region
Located in the city of Oakville, this Napa Valley winery produces a very small amount of wine per year (five to six thousand cases), but they are wines that showcase the best that Napa Valley’s wine region has to offer. Although the winery is dedicated to producing Cabernet Sauvignons, many wonderful wines come from Saddleback, including Chardonnays, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grogio, Viognier, Merlot and Zinfandel. Additional , smaller lot wines are produced for our Posse Wine Club members.
Saddleback is dedicated to producing the finest wine that grapes in the Napa Valley wine region can produce. This means that our wine selection can change from year to year – some years the wine is from a single vineyard, other years a single appelation, and in some others, it’s a blend of both.

Over half of the 14.8 acre vineyard dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Over the years, Saddleback has continued to work on producing the best Cabernets that Napa Valley’s grapes can create, with every batch of wine hand-crafted for balance, and are easy to drink.

Saddleback Cellars is a Napa Valley winery located in the city of Oakville. Owner and winemaker Nils Venge, “King of Cabernet”, produces amazing wines from the grapes grown on their estate vineyard, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grogio, Viognier, Merlot and Zinfandel. They also run a tasting room for the public to experience their wines.
